80–150 computer-adaptive items in 2.5 hours. Miss an item and the next one gets easier; get it right and it gets harder. Your result is a difficulty-adjusted ability estimate, so a short exam is not a bad sign — it means the algorithm settled quickly.

When two answers both look defensible, the exam wants the intervention that addresses the immediate life threat with the least invasive option that actually works.
